       As the states only active Private Investigators Association, we get many calls on the reputation of Investigators in our state. We have many individuals who want to hire a Private Investigator but first would like to find out about thier agency. We here at the Private Investigators Association of Idaho, want to help the public and those interested in hiring a P.I. That is why we believe in a strong moral and ethical standard for our industry. Chosing the right Private Investigator is difficult as there are no licensing laws in Idaho to determine which Investigator is right for you. We feel it is prudent that consumers contact our Association in order to find out the details of a Private Investigation Agency you are considering hiring for your sensitive case.

There are many investigators in our state who are very professional and have excellent standards of morals and ethics. We feel it is prudent to choose a Private Investigator who has these qualities. We know for a fact that if you come across a Private Investigation Agency who has anything negative to say about other Agencies, then that Investigating agency is simply trying to gain your business. We believe almost all the private investigators in our state have some area of expertise which they specialize in and most of these investigators will do the best job possible on your case. At our association, we have a referal system to turn you on to the Investigator who has an area of expertise in your specific case. In the industry of private Investigation, possitive application in the investigative field is crucial. There are no credentials any Private Investigator can show to his client except his word and his moral and ethical standards. Remember, this is an industry of it's own which has been around for hundreds of years. So remember bieng an investigator in the private sector is far different than those investigators in the field of law enforcement.  Our tacticts and intuitive thinking come from experience as conducting work for private citizens. we simply use our experience and creative thinking to handle cases. Look for those Investigators who have been in the field of (PRIVATE) Investigations  for some time and have many hours of investigations in the private sector. the experience of being a Private investigator, means they have studied and used the skills they have to be private and work for private citizens..  Any Investigator who badmouths or speaks negative of another is definitely a red flag.
